It’s such a shame that so many of us are born, live our lives, and die without ever knowing who we are and why we incarnated into physical form in the first place. This thoughtlessness keeps us trapped in a dream-like state; and searching for our happiness in all the wrong places. For, the true purpose of life is to rediscover the knowledge that we are one with God. And not taking the time to come to know Him is to miss the whole point of our existence.

Now, none of us are denied knowledge of God, if we sincerely choose to seek Him. For, God is within us; and therefore, we all have access to Him. In fact, in the beginning, we were all in direct communion with God. We, for lack of a better word, “separated” ourselves through our own choice; and so, we must now learn how to once again reconnect to, and feel, His presence. We must rediscover, and become fully aware of, the fact that we are indeed God’s children; who are made in His image & likeness.

If we sincerely desire to learn this truth, then, we must take the initiative to seek God out. For, God will not impose Himself on anyone. He will not bust into our lives and force us to love Him. By creating us in His image and likeness, He gave us the gift of free-will. And He will not deny us this gift of freedom. Therefore, our salvation lies within our own hands, and not anyone else; because we all have the choice to know and love God or not.

Now we shall only come to re-know God when we desire Him above all the things which He created. Only then shall we awaken from this dream that we call life. If we remain attached to our life, and the things of this world, then it is inevitable that we will have suffering & misery; for we will remain in a “feeling” of being separated. Since, choosing to remain attached, means that there are things which we prefer to knowing God.

Only once we commit to knowing God above all else, will He reveal Himself to us. Only when we empty ourselves of all that is not God do we make room for Him to fill us more completely. The more unattached we become the freer and happier we ultimately shall be; & the more our awareness of God will grow.

Also, know that while birth is being born into this dream of being “separated”, our death is not the end of the dream; because unless we are totally devoid of all desires we shall not fully merge again with God. For, it is our desires that pull us back into the world of form & matter. However, when we unite ourselves with God, and desire only Him, then rather than being pulled back into dense matter, we are drawn up to the realm of spirit. Then, when we awake we shall find ourselves in the Kingdom of God. Then, rather than reawakening in flesh, we shall fully awaken as our true self; and into the consciousness of our immortality.
